This resort offers an exciting experience, especially for families, with engaging activities for kids and a beautiful setting. However, some areas need attention, particularly cleanliness in restrooms and bridge accessibility. While the upbeat atmosphere during Halloween is a definite highlight, the overall value for money has diminished over the years.

Our stay at the campground had its ups and downs. The location was beautiful and offered plenty of activities, especially over the holiday weekend. However, the campsites were too cramped for our liking, and we found the price for firewood and dining to be quite high. Overall, it's a decent spot for a family getaway but not without some drawbacks.

I had an amazing experience at this campground. The staff was incredibly friendly and the grounds were well-maintained. I loved the outdoor space for my family and pets, but it did rain during our stay, making it a bit messy at times. Overall, it was a fantastic retreat where we felt comfortable and at home.

I had an overall decent stay at this campground, but there were some issues that left me feeling unsure about returning. The location is quite beautiful, and the weekend activities were well-organized, especially during Halloween. However, the proximity of the campsites to each other was a bit too close for comfort, and the restrooms were in dire need of cleaning and maintenance.
Rooms
6.0
The campsites were okay for our large group, but I wish they were less cramped. It was difficult to relax with the next site just a few feet away.
Service
6.0
The staff was generally friendly and engaged, but I encountered some maintenance issues that were not promptly addressed.
Location
7.0
The property is beautiful and offers stunning scenery, but the closeness of the sites made it less enjoyable.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were a bit overpriced, especially for waffles and ice cream. While the free pig roast was a pleasant surprise, I felt overall the food prices could be much more reasonable.
Facilities

There were fun activities available, but the condition of the restrooms really detracted from the overall experience. They were not clean and lacked basic supplies.

Our family had a delightful Father's Day weekend at this resort! It was clean, charming, and perfect for relaxation. The activities scheduled kept the kids and dads engaged, which made it an enjoyable time for everyone. However, we did have a slightly odd encounter with a permanent resident that affected our experience later in the evening.
